Easter LOVE Note Printables

Easter is almost here!  WOW!!!  Only 2 months until Summer break in Colorado.  The countdown begins.  🙂

Do you ever feel you don’t do enough?  Well, I want to be the Mom who has kids that write love notes to their Grandparents & Great Grandparents every holiday.  Unfortunately, I’m not WONDER Mom and sometimes those little things that mean so much get lost in the shuffle. 🙁

This year is going to be different!  I’ve created a simple page that my kids can personalize with their own art, be it painted or drawn to send to loved ones.

For little people have them trace the words “Happy Easter”.  Download the Little Kid Easter Love Note

Older kids can easily write a love note on this cute lined paper and add their own special art work.  Download the Big Kid Easter Love Note

Enjoy surprising someone you love this Easter!  I know the notes my kiddos made will end up on several refrigerators!

Print and personalize these today to “pop” in the mail for Easter!  {I think I might make one to send to each of my kids as a surprise.  Who doesn’t love getting REAL mail?}

Happy Easter!

Easter Subway Art

Yeah!  It’s Friday and my Big Guy turns 6 today! Feels like he was just born.  Enough about me, let’s get to some Easter fun!  I love this printable and I hope you will too.

I don’t know about you but I’m tired of Easter Subway art that is all about the bunny.  Although we enjoy Easter baskets and egg hunts at our house I want to glorify the One who rose from the dead on Easter, my Savior.  So I created my own Easter Subway Art to bring glory to Jesus, the Risen One!  I had it printed on canvas in the modern Easter colors.  To download a huge version {to use as you please} simply click on the style you want.

Get Egged!

Have you started thinking Spring yet?  My mind can’t get there quickly enough and I wish the weather would cooperate and warm up!  One of my favorite parts of Halloween is being BOOed!  It is always such a fun idea and my kids love being sneaky.

Whose kids wouldn’t LOVE to see something like this on their front porch?  This year for Easter we will be egging others in our neighborhood.

What to do:

  1. Download and print out 2 copies of the “We’ve Been Egged” and the directions.  There are directions for generic Easter and for a Christian Easter focused on blessing others by leaving them encouraging notes in addition to the treat!
  2. Hide notes or treats in a dozen plastic eggs and secretly hide them in front of 2 houses.  Leave the “We’ve Been Egged” sign AND the directions in a small basket, cup etc. on the front porch.  You could also leave a yummy treat for the family to share like cookies or homemade bread {just a thought, yeah, I love carbs}.
  3. You can either ring the bell and RUN your tail off {I’m thinking I wouldn’t be fast enough anymore for this} OR just leave it on the porch to be DISCOVERED!

Have a blast spreading Easter cheer to those around you!  {And don’t blame any skinned knees on me}  🙂

**  By request:  Here is a version of I’ve Been Egged with 4 on a page for use in a school or workplace.  Enjoy!

Valentine’s Day Flower Suckers

I wanted something adorable that my 7 year old was capable of making for Valentine’s Day this year.  I thought, what better than a Valentine that looks like a beautiful flower?   Any girl would love to hand those out.  We came up with these…

Supplies:

Penny & Nickel Sort

Playing with money is super fun!  Give each kiddo a handful of pennies and nickels and ask them to sort using the sorting sheet provided.  They’ll think it’s a game, you know it’s coin recognition and sorting rolled into one, plus counting to get their final results and you could even compare {which has more?  which has less?}!  Continue reading

Letter O Octopus

It’s letter O Week at preschool. Our phonics character {we use Zoo Phonics and LOVE it!} is an Octopus, so what else could we make besides a cute 8 legged creature.  This year I printed the octopus parts on colored construction paper Continue reading
