Oh my goodness! I simply loved this project and the kids did too!! To enhance the story of Joseph and his coat we decided that we just had to make our very own coats.

We used large paper grocery bags from our local grocery store. Before cutting or trimming them we asked the kids to color them with LOTS of colors just like Joseph’s richly ornamented robe.

Aren’t they just so cute? The kids loved modeling their coats after we trimmed them and added arm holes. The kids were able to act out the beginning of the story of Joseph.
